I've been accused of leaving the Seventh Day Adventist Church. "Romanists have persisted in bringing against Protestants the charge of heresy andwillful separation from the true church. But these accusations apply rather to themselves. They are the ones who laid down the banner of Christ and departed from "the faith which was once delivered unto the saints." Jude 3. {Great Controversy page 51} That's my view of those who have come to believe in the Trinity and accuse us ofleaving the church. Reading the next verse it tells us what they would do. Jud 1:4 For there are certain men crept in unawares, who were before of old ordained to this condemnation, ungodly men, turning the grace of our God into lasciviousness, and denying the only Lord God, and our Lord Jesus Christ. And how long after Christ did it take them to creep in and change the faith delivered to the saints? "The mystery of the Trinity is the central doctrine of the Catholic Faith.Upon it are based all the other teachings of the Church? The Church studied this mystery with great care and, after four centuries of clarification, decided to state the doctrine in this way: in the unityof the Godhead there are three Persons,?the Father, the Son, and theHoly Spirit?[Handbook for todays Catholic Page 11]
Yes, four centuries it took these men to creep in unawares and deny the only true God the father[John 17:3, 1 Cor 8:6], and his son Jesus Christ. In all actuality it is them who have departed from the faith. Them who left off the true Seventh Day Adventist faith. "Our holy faith cries out separation."- {ST, February 19, 1880 par. 1} "You are exhorted to touch not the unclean thing; for in touching this, you will yourself become unclean. It is impossible for you tounite with those who are corrupt, and still remain pure". {RH, January2, 1900}. "We have a testing message to give, and I am instructed to say to our people, "Unify, unify." But we are not to unify with those who are departing from the faith, giving heed toseducing spirits and doctrines of devils". Manuscript 31, 1906. {3SM, p412}.

David. I have ask to be removed from the church role about 20 years ago but has been stil withnessing in the SDA Church They know my position and I have many debates on church doctrine and many has als left the church. Who will warn those people if we all disapere from there felloship? I also withness in other Churches and have fellowship with them also, but not with the book of Revelation but to point out the Elijah message to turn back to the commandments of God. If they do God will save this world if not God will destroy this world. That will not mean that all will be lost but that God will take over the rule of the people of this world. And destroy those who are responsible that the gospel has not reached the whole world. Jack. Jack,
I've thought about this for awhile. Should I go back in there to sit down listen to their message then tell them they are wrong.
Honestly as your saying this is the ELijah Message. If we look at Elijah he wasn't going into their church every Sabbath. He told them to meet him on the mountain to have a showdown to see who's God is the true God. We have the same message.
I believe the General Conference of Seventh Day Adventists is a fallen body. And therefore is a cage of devils. It is no different then going into the Sunday Keeping churches. However I think the second angel tells us to tell these people "Come out of her my people". So I don't think we should be going in there. I'm fully convicted on it myself. However, I questioned it for awhile too. But the more I study the more I see.
If we have the message, I guarantee you it will reach them just by us staying out.

I have hesitated to leave the church, though it has fallen very far. I have a number of friends among the "Separated Brethren", but haven't seen fit to leave. Having my faith turned into commercial merchandise has made me think about it again. I resolved years ago to leave if a confrontation over Truth forced me to. That is if I was asked to teach or profess something that I couldn't conscientiously do.
I don't consider the SDA church Babylon. If they reject the Sabbath, then I will. I consider them to be like ancient Israel in Jeremiah's time; under subjection, full of apostasy and Spiritual violence, but still God's people. Frankly, I haven't seen the crucial signs of God's blessing among the Separated Brethren. It seems that it is impossible to find 2 who agree on anything. There is an implicit assumption that the out- pouring of the Holy Spirit is acceptance of certain truths, usually as personally conceived. One of these days I will post some threads on this subject. There are some important overlooked, under-appreciated things that are absolutely essential for the outpouring the the Latter Rain.

Hi Truthhunter,
I agree. There is one thing that is essential to recieving the latter rain. Accepting the ELijah message.
1Ki 18:39 And when all the people saw it, they fell on their faces: and they said, The LORD, he is the God; the LORD, he is the God. 1Ki 18:41 And Elijah said unto Ahab, Get thee up, eat and drink; for there is a sound of abundance of rain.
I have an article that goes into depth on what is withholding the latter rain if you are interested.
