HEYYY!!!  Do you want to live longer?  Look younger?  Feel lighter and healthier?  These things many would love to be because health is wealth; From mother's womb until death, we have to care for our health.  In the time of crisis, it is very important for us not to be sick, so we should carefully consider our health.

 

Let’s look at some ways in which we can make life more colorful, enjoyable, and affordable, as well as a great way to gain excellent health.  It’s really very hard to take care of a sick person, and much harder if we get sick, as we cannot work and do the things we need to do. So the question is how can we avoid sickness?

According to science it is not an accident that many people die. It is not the hospital or contagious disease. The first reason for DEATH IS THE KITCHEN.  

 

Many are digging their own graves by spoon or fork.  Hypertension, cancer, and diabetes are reasons for early death of our love ones, friends, and family members which are all avoidable and mostly caused due to their appetites. God says in Proverbs:23:2-3 “And put a knife to thy throat, if thou be a man given to appetite, be not desirous of his dainties; for they are deceitful meat[food]”. Therefore we have instructions to practice temperance.


Human nature loves to eat, many people besides eating breakfast, lunch, and dinner, have snacks in the morning, afternoon, and sometimes at midnight. There are some who are even worse than that.  They just eat every time they feel something in their stomach. If they feel their stomach, they start looking for something to eat, but they do not know their digestive system is begging for a rest and to stop digesting.  Just like everything in this world that God created there is a time for everything, same as our digestion.

 
There must be 2 hours of making gastric juice so that it can prepare to digest our food. There should be 5 hours interval between meals and we should not eat more than 3 times a day. Our stomach will not work so hard if we eat regularly.

 
Breakfast should be the heaviest meal, and eat a regular lunch and light dinner. The dinner must be eaten 2-3 hours before sleeping. If we do not eat regularly our blood will just focus on the stomach that's why we can feel head ache because lack of oxygen that brings to our blood. Just like a machine it is easily damaged if abused, same as a human if they overeat or eat irregularly they will age prematurely. If we eat at improper times we will experience constipation, and this can lead to sickness because of the waste that stay’s inside our bodies.

 

Eat for strength and not for drunkenness.  Our bodies are built up from the food we eat, there is a breaking down of the tissue of the body; Every organ produces waste constantly, if you are going to eat nutritious food, it will help you repair the damage in your body.   Each organ of the body requires it's share of nutrition. The brain must be supplied with its portion; the bones, muscles, and nerves also demand their portions. It is actually an amazing process that transforms the food into blood and uses this blood to build up various parts of the body; but this process is going on continually, supplying the body with life, strength for each nerve, muscle and tissue

 

If there is a damaged appliance in the home, we will read manufacturer's manual. When a car breaks down we bring it to the repair shop.  Now what if our body becomes damaged? Where do we go?  Well, how about the designer of the body. The creator’s manual?  Right? God said in 1 Corinthians 3:16-17 “Know ye not that ye are the temple of God, and that the spirit of God dwelleth in you? If any man defile the temple of God. him shall God destroy: For the temple of God is holy, Which temple ye are.” If garbage can create pollution in the air, the food we eat can also be poison in the body. Its food color, MSG, too much salt, can cause migraine headaches kidney stones and gallbladder infections. There are also other unhealthy food that we are eating that we don't know that it is unhealthy. Just like preserved foods, like Noodles, food in cans, sugar, flour, white rice, and other refined foods. Instead we should try eating unpolished rice, whole wheat, honey instead of sugar. Eating food with high fiber helps cleanse our body.  Fruits and vegetable are rich in fiber.  Fruits take approximately 2 hours to digest while vegetables can be digested in 3 to 4 hours, and meat can take up to 1 week.  Therefore if we eat meat everyday then our digestive system will have no rest. every machine when over used can be damaged our digestive system when over used will be damaged as well. 


It is also important to practice eating raw fruits and vegetables, Because Vegetables and fruits that have not been cooked or heated are rich in enzymes. Enzymes help make our cells strong. 

There are still many things we need to learn, In everything God wants us to be wealthy in health.  3 John 2 “Beloved, I wish above all things that thou mayest prosper and be in health, even as thy soul prospereth.” Proverbs 3:5 says "Trust in the Lord with all your heart and lean not unto your own understanding  acknowledge him and he will direct your path." if we will just ask God's guidance he will never fail us.
